ANNOUNCEMENT
Competition authorities approve the sale of Mærsk Data AS to IBM Danmark A/S On 17 August 2004 A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S signed agreement to sell the wholly owned subsidiary Mærsk Data AS to IBM Danmark A/S. The agreement was subject to the approval of the competition authorities. Today the competition authorities have approved the sale of Mærsk Data AS. Closing is expected to take place on 30 November 2004. The sale is expected to have a positive effect on the A.P.
